About Me
Hi, I’m Ashley — founder of The Maternity Guru, mom of three boys, and a Certified Leave Management Specialist through the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), with additional California compliance training through CalChamber.
I’ve been on the employee side of leave — from navigating outdated policies to experiencing layoffs while pregnant — and now I help employers avoid common challenges so they can create compliant and positive leave experiences.
California’s leave laws and wage replacement programs (CFRA, PDL, SDI, PFL) are complex, and mistakes can be costly.
